Benefits

The outstanding benefits package provided by Mee to our employees reflects their importance to our mission and goals in providing excellence in patient care.  We place a high value on the dedicated employees who help us earn our excellent reputation, and we show our appreciation by providing very competitive wages and an outstanding benefits package.
Benefit plans offered are also reflective of continuing feedback received from employees about what is of most value to them and their families.  Benefits for newhire employees are effective the first of the month following 90 days of employment.


Insurance
Medical Insurance
Mee provides a comprehensive PPO Plan with reasonable annual deductibles and co-pays.  Employee premiums are covered 100% by Mee.  Dependent coverage is available at a nominal monthly fee. 
Dental Insurance
Employee premiums are covered 100% by Mee.  Dependent coverage is available at a nominal monthly fee.  
Vision Insurance
Employee premiums are covered 100%.  Dependent coverage is available at a nominal monthly fee. Mee provides vision care through Vision Service Plan (VSP).


Retirement Plan
Mee cares about your future and offers two savings options for retirement, 401(k) and 403(b).
403(b)
All employees are eligible to participate immediately in payroll deductions to a registered 403(b) Plan.
401(k)
After one year of employment, full- and part-time employees are eligible to participate in Mee’s 401(k) Plan and can select from many investment options offered.

Paid Time Off (PTO)
Mee combines vacation time, short-term sick leave, holiday leave and personal leave into one ‘bank’.  A full-time employee (with up to 3 years of service) earns 9 hours per pay period – which accumulates to 234 hours of leave per year under the PTO program and continues to increase with years of service.  Pro-rated PTO hours are earned by our regular part-time employees.  Both full-time and regular part-time employees begin to earn PTO hours immediately upon hire.

Extended Sick Leave (ESL)
Employees accrue extended sick leave at a rate of 91 hours per year and may draw upon ESL accounts for illnesses extending longer than 40 consecutively scheduled hours.
