I decided that medicine would be a much more worthwhile pursuit than engineering and physics. I must say the most satisfying part of being here is the people.The patients are warm and friendly. Knowing that you are working in a doctor-shortage area also gives you the feeling of being truly needed; you know that in a lot of cases if you weren’t here to help, many people wouldn’t get help at all.”
