Mee Memorial Board Offers Community Experience


The Mee Memorial Hospital trustees offer a wide variety of expertise and experience to make the current board well rounded and diverse at the same time.

Janet Buttgereit, Vice Chairman

Janet Buttgereit

Janet has served on the board since mid-2009, and began her tenure as chair in 2012. Her board experience on the elementary and high school district board has served her well at Mee Memorial. She also has decades-long community experience.


 Roy Schindelheim, MD, Trustee

Vice-Chairman & Chief of Staff

Dr. Roy Schindelheim became a member of the Board in 2011 after serving as Chief of Staff. Dr. Schindelheim has practiced in family practice medicine at Mee Memorial for nearly 30 years and is very knowledgeable about clinical care, health care issues, and, in addition, is very familiar with the entire South County area.


 Roger Borzini, Chairman

Roger Borzini

Roger has served on the Board since 2008. A CPA, he owns his own accounting firm, Borzini Accounting. In addition to his financial expertise, he brings along a concern for the community and an ability to get things done.

 Paulette Bumbalough, Trustee

Paulette Bumbalough

Retired Dean of the Hartnell College facility in King City, Paulette is an energetic and knowledgeable addition to the board, serving on several other community boards and committees, including South Monterey County High School board and as Past President of King City Rotary Club. She joined the board in 2009.

Sarah Nash, Trustee

Sarah Nash 

In addition to being a long-standing and active member of the community, Sarah has extensive experience in the health care profession. She joined the Board in 2009.


 Gerry Ramirez

Gerry Ramirez 

Having been involved in several organizations, including being the past President of the King City Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture, Gerry is very knowledgeable and passionate about our community. She joined the Board in 2015.
