Members of the Mee Memorial Hospital Service League Hazel Mitchell (from left), Donna Palmer, Virginia Grindstaff, Dorothy Nyswonger, Darleen Maggini, Janet Oswald, Ezmalene Plaskell, Brenda Velasca and Janice Grim conducted the annual Christmas Bake Sale last Friday, Dec. 3, in the lobby of the hospital. Many of King City's best bakers created baked goods, such as jams, jellies, candies, and other holiday treats. "Gifts From Mee," the hospital gift shop, also held the yearly Gift Shop Boutique. The Mee Memorial Hospital Foundation feature its quilt in the lobby for all those who wanted to purchase a drawing ticket. Funds raised during these various activities will go to aid the hospital, its patients, the staff, and the community.
