“This is a wonderful opportunity for Mee Memorial to provide nutritious, tasty lunches for the senior citizens of the Greenfield area,” said Adrienne Starr, Director of Nutrition Services at Mee Memorial Hospital.
The hospital has contracted with the County of Monterey Area Agency on Aging, which to operates the senior nutrition congregate dining site in Greenfield at Los Ositos, 1083 Elm ave. The lunch service started Feb. 1 and will operate five days a week, Monday thru Friday. It is for seniors 60 or older, their families and care givers are also invited. The meal is served at noon And example of a lunch is chicken supreme, fluffy cheese potatoes, chilled pineapple, whole wheat bread and milk.
The Lunches are free for the seniors, although donations are optional and encouraged. For more information call 385-7194
