Mee Memorial Gift Shop

The Mee Memorial Hospital Service League’s mission is to aid with community healthcare and support all Mee Memorial medical facilities. This group of dedicated women and men take that mission statement seriously.

Service League Gets Good Start

January 1977 -- Groundwork was well established and activities set in motion Tuesday at the organizational meeting of the Service League for Mee Memorial Hospital. All SoMoCo women were invited to attend the planning session and about 40 were present. Following a coffee and refreshment break, officers elected were: Mrs. Steve Hogan and Mrs. Bill Whitney, chairpersons; Mrs. William Goenne, secretary-treasurer; Mrs. Elmer Tognetti, membership chairperson. The beginning services will now be chosen and hours scheduled for activities. Although the Service League is now a going concern, there is a place for any woman of the area to be of service and membership is open. There was even some discussion about including interested men in the group.

Mrs. Emil Meyer First President Of Auxiliary

Presenting the check are Juliette Palmer, president, Stella Homen, Catherine Whitney, Gertrude Butler to Ruth Records, hospital administrator.

Mrs. Emil Meyer was elected president of the newly formed hospital auxiliary at a meeting held yesterday in the high school library. Chosen to serve with her are Mrs. Lester Smart, vice-president, Mrs. James Pettitt, secretary, Mrs. Jack Turner, treasurer.
