About Matthew

Dr. Sabatino joins us following running Central Coast Orthopedics — a private practice in San Luis Obispo, CA. He also worked as attending physician in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center at the Boston VA Medical Center, Jamaica Plain, MA. He is a member of the North American Spine Society and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, served as an Artillery Officer in the US Army and was a USA Men's National Handball Athlete and Head Coach at West Point.

Educational Background

Dr. Sabatino completed a fellowship in spine surgery at Yale New Haven Hospital, New Haven, CT and received his Medical Degree at Georgetown University, Washington, DC. He completed a Master of Science in Health Policy and Clinical Practice at The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice, Lebanon, NH.
