About Noah
Dr. Noah Hawthorne is an emergency physician and has cared for patients in the Mee Memorial Emergency Department since 2019, where he also serves as Medical Director. He is also Chief Medical Officer for Mee Memorial Healthcare System.
Dr. Hawthorne grew up on a family ranch in San Luis Obispo County. He studied Human Biology at Stanford University, earned a Master of Public Health from UC Berkeley, and completed medical school and his Emergency Medicine residency at UC San Francisco.
Before and during his medical training, he worked on community health projects in Nicaragua, Mexico and South Africa, and rural and underserved care has remained a focus of his work. He speaks English and Spanish. Outside of work, he enjoys travel, photography, scuba diving, mountain biking and cooking.
