Bio
Peter comes to MMHS from Natividad Medical Center in Salinas, CA. While at Natividad, he served as chair of the Patient Safety and Quality Committee. Prior to coming to California, he was affiliated with Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver, WA, where he also served as Physician Director - Women's and Children's Services, chaired the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and served as medical director at Healthy Steps Women's Children's Clinic. He has authored numerous papers and received a number of research grants and teaching awards. In his spare time, Peter enjoys open water swimming and is a triathlete / runner, participating in the 1987 Los Angeles Marathon.
Education
Peter obtained his medical degree at Northwestern University Medical School, Chicago, IL., his master's degree in public health/epidemiology at University of California, Los Angeles, and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Ohio State University, Columbus, OH. He received his bachelor of arts, in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
