Physician Careers
Primary Care Opportunities in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics in
King City and Greenfield, California
We are a close-knit hospital in South Monterey County looking for primary care physicians who want a real practice and a real community. If that sounds like you, reach out directly using the form below and we will get back to you ourselves.
A Hospital Where Physicians Still Have Room to Practice
Mee Memorial Healthcare System is an independent, nonprofit community hospital with up to four rural health clinics serving South Monterey County. No parent system and no distant corporate owner. Decisions get made here, by people who know each other by name.
Our medical staff is small enough that you reach your colleagues by phone rather than through a portal, and small enough that clinical judgment still belongs to the physician rather than to a utilization apparatus. We are one of a shrinking number of independent nonprofit health systems in the country still built around care for an underserved community.
Rural, Not Isolated
Almost everything is within an hour. Paso Robles and the Central Coast wine country in one direction, Monterey and Carmel in the other, with Salinas and San Luis Obispo both an easy drive. Our physicians live across that whole range and commute in from wherever suits them. Housing here costs a fraction of what the same salary buys on the coast, which is the part most candidates do not expect.
