Bio
Syed has extensive experience in internal medicine. Before coming to California, he worked as a hospitalist at Northwest Health-Porter, Valparaiso, IL and at Insight Hospital & Medical Center in Chicago, IL. While in Chicago, he also worked as a behavioral health sitter at Loretto Hospital, and as an auto-transfusionist, at Midwest Blood Recovery Systems. In addition to work in hospital settings, he has a background in research and instruction.
Education
Dr. Rahman received his medical degree at Windsor University School of Medicine, St. Kitts, West Indies. He completed his internal medicine residency, at Loyola University Medical Center/TrinityMercy, Chicago, IL. His master’s degree is in public health from Benedictine University, Lisle, IL, and he received a bachelor of science in Neuroscience, from the University of Illinois, Chicago, IL.
