Coronavirus Precautions at Mee

We want to assure you that our local hospital, clinics, and physician practices are taking every precaution to ensure your safety.

Steps we’re taking include

  • Thermometer Icon Screening all patients and team members for COVID-19 symptoms.
  • Limiting visitors in our facilities. For surgeries and procedures, we’re allowing one companion visitor. Visitors are restricted for inpatients, except for certain circumstances.
  • Person Wearing Mask Icon Requiring masks for all patients and team members entering our facilities. We will provide a mask if you don’t have one.
  • Social Distance Icon Ensuring well patients receive care separately, whether it’s a designated area or time of day. Special screening rooms have been created for COVID-19 patients.
  • Social Distance Icon Social distancing in our patient waiting areas. We’re maintaining a lower number of in-person patient appointments at any given time so that waiting areas have more open space.
  • Disinfecting Door Knob Icon Cleaning exam rooms and equipment after each visit using our recommended protocols

Talk With Your Kids

Children may feel confused and anxious.

Answer questions and encourage them to share their feelings.

Reassure them they are OK and that you are there for them

Wash Hands Frequently

It’s the best way to stop the spread of disease.

Thorough hand washing takes 20 seconds.

Do it when you come from the outside, before eating and after coughing or sneezing.

Stay At Home

Social distancing slows the spread of disease and keeps vulnerable people safe.

This can be difficult for kids but staying home protects your family and others.

Keep play dates virtual.

If you need to leave home remember to stay at least 6 ft from others.
